PROVERBS 15:1
A Professor was teaching about Proverbs 15:1.
He
asked his students, 'why do we shout in anger?
Why do people shout at each other when they are
upset?'
The students thought for awhile.
One
said, because we lose our calm.
But why shout
when the other person is just next to you? Asked
the professor. Isn't it possible to speak to him or
her with a soft voice?
Why do you shout at a
person when you are angry?
The students gave
some answers but none satisfied the Professor.
Finally he explained, 'when two people are angry
at each other, there is a distance in their hearts
psychologically.
To cover the distance, they must
shout to be able to hear each other.
The angrier
they are, the stronger they will shout to hear each
other through that great distance.
Then the
Professor asked, 'What happens when two people
fall in love?
They don't shout at each other but
talk softly.
Why? Because their hearts are
psychologically close.
The distance between them
is very close.
The Professor continued, 'When they
love each other even more, what happens?
They
don't speak, only whisper and they even get
closer to each other in their love.
Finally they
even need not whisper, they only look at each
other and that's all.....
So next time you shout on
a loved one, know that you are creating distance
between your heart and that person’s heart.
Proverbs 15:1 says a gentle answer turns away
wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
Jesus remain the only Saviour
*HELL IS REAL*
Be reminded that age is no qualifier for death.
Death can
happen to any man, and at any time.
Note also that Untimely death doesn't exonerate
anyone from
Judgement.
So be alert, Invest in your Judgement day; repent
and accept
the offer of Jesus to deliver you from Hell fire.
Repent and Turn to Jesus.
People on earth hate to hear the word -REPENT,
but, those
regretting in hell fire wish they could have a
second chance
to hear it a again.
TO ALL MEN
- Before you start a relationship with a lady,
you
must think carefully
about what you are about to do. A
relationship is not
something you
should rush into or handle lightly.
- Are you ready for a relationship with her?
Are you
emotionally,
mentally and spiritually mature to meet her
needs?
- Being sexually attracted to her means
absolutely
nothing. It isn’t a
sign of likeness, love or any other thing your
mind
may come up
with. It may just be your hormones messing
with
your mind. A woman is more than her body
and her sexuality.
She
has a life which
you should be able to blend with. Can you do
that?
- This lady has a history. Can you handle it?
She has
a past. Can
you handle it? Can you handle her mistakes,
failures
and
weaknesses? Can you handle her dreams
without
being intimidated and becoming jealous?
- She already had a life before she met you.
Can you
fit into and
help improve her life?
- Love is commitment. Are you ready to
commit your
life to helping
her grow and become all that she can be, by
God’s
grace?
- Is she valuable enough for you to devote a
large
portion of your
life towards the accomplishment of HER
dream? Are
you ready to
pour your resources into making her all the
Lord
plans for her to be? If you are not ready,
don’t just bother.
- Before you open your mouth to say ‘I love
you’,
ask yourself if this
is not just a moment of ‘emotional madness’.
A lady
needs much
more than ‘I love you’. She needs your
commitment.
If you are not ready to make that
commitment that will lead to
marriage, please
leave her alone in peace and stop wasting
her Time.
NOT ALL PEOPLE WHO CELEBRATE YOU ARE WELL-WISHERS
A young mosquito went out flying for the
first time in its life.
The father asked, "How does it feel?"
The mosquito replied, "It was GREAT!
Everyone was clapping 4 me.
The father
replied, "They weren't clapping for you. They wanted to kill you, the more they
clapped, the more chances you are likely to
die.
LESSON: In life, not all the people who
celebrate you are well-wishers...
..
So be careful.
Mind what you do to others
Always put yourself in others' shoes.
If you feel that it hurts you,
it probably hurts the other person, too.
